a half lived life, a box cutter,
the troll doll with neo green hair
hold folded neatly underneath your favorite sweater
when laughter was an Olympic event
age came and went, between cracked cement
sidewalks with hop scotch and dandelions
I Picked up the pieces you left,
The story you wanted, that ran out of time
I place it back together
Gorilla glue I hand, duck tape in the other
Fingers blood stained red, bandaids hugging the cuts I collected
I collected all the good
I collected all the bad
I collected all the ugly
You hid Behind closed doors,
Under sheets and long sleeves
